This week we are delighted to launch our Client Mentor Initiative as we seek more ways to add value to our clients, owners of accounting practices who are looking to sell.
What is the Client Mentor Initiative?
Clients have regularly told us it would be valuable to speak to someone who has already been through the journey of selling their practice and can share their own experiences of that journey.
To address this need DMY are assembling a small number of former practice owners who have successfully sold their practices to act as informal mentors to our clients.
Introducing our First Client Mentor: Cameron Dyal
We are delighted to introduce Cameron Dyal as our first Client Mentor. Cameron is a Chartered Accountant with almost 30 years experience in the accounting profession. He worked for a variety of second tier and smaller practices before establishing his own boutique firm in 2004. After successfully growing his practice to over $1.3 million in fees, Cameron sold the practice in late 2020, while still in his forties, to spend more time with his family and pursue other business interests. Cameron has also served as an advisor to businesses and Board Director, and can provide a unique insight to practice owners about every stage of the sale process through his own personal experience.
