New Townsville Listing, Deals Update

This week we are bringing another boutique accounting practice to market: 

  • Townsville Accounting Practice with c.$275,000 in fees.

The details are below under JUST LISTED. This is a very straightforward tuck-in for the right purchaser so, if this looks like a good fit for you, don’t delay in registering your interest via its website listing. 

As a reminder, we listed a Brisbane South bookkeeping practice last week which has already seen enquiries from thirty three potential purchasers: 1 Principal firm, Brisbane South $204,000 in fees (ID#216). Again, don't delay if this is a good fit.

Meanwhile we continue to see good progress across a number of our clients. In the last week two more clients in Brisbane and Melbourne have executed contracts of sale with buyers and will be moving shortly to settlement:

1 Principal firm, Brisbane North $1,600,000 in fees (ID#190)

2 Partner firm, Melbourne Inner Suburb $1,500,000 in fees (ID#168)

I (Mark) have spent a busy week in Sydney meeting with clients, potential sellers, and owners looking to buy. There is clearly a strong appetite to acquire good quality practices of all sizes and we are confident that activity levels amongst sellers will continue to pick up over the next 6-12 months. A great question I was asked in relation to the number of buyers was: What does an average of 86 buyers per listing of a practice in a metro location actually look like? How many end up meeting the seller?  Great question(s)  - and we will cover this in some detail using real-life data in our next Market Update. Stay tuned!

As we finish the week, Daniel is in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, a quite buoyant market right now for buying and selling. Other than meeting practice owners, Daniel is also presenting at an IPA forum on the state of the market right now. We love these types of sessions as it's a great way to engage with practice owners.
