Both firms have been listed for less than two months. DMY were able to generate enquiries from ninety-eight and sixty four interested parties respectively from which we were quickly able to filter down to a small pool of suitable parties for each Vendor to meet. In both cases the Vendors identified several potential purchasers who offered a strong cultural fit for their clients, with the successful buyers getting themselves over the line by offering points of difference including speed and ease of deal execution, and in one case a higher offer than the Vendor was looking for. In today's highly competitive buyer market, cultural fit still trumps everthing else but success will go to those buyers who are easy to work with and prepared to compete on the commercial terms.
