New Listing, New Market Data Coming

Welcome to this week's Market Update. We are delighted to be listing another new Queensland practice for sale this week:

• Two Principal firm with c.$1,000,000 fees in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs

This practice has an interesting specialism and average client fees of c.$9,000. Check out the details below under Just Listed and, if it looks like a good fit, don't delay in registering your interest via the website listing.

This time of year is always a busy one for public practice accountants with ATO deadlines. It has also been a busy and productive time for DMY clients over the past two weeks:

• A 1 Principal firm, Melbourne Inner North fees of $1.040,000 in Accounting and $200,000 FP (ID#218) has executed a Heads of Agreement with a preferred purchaser and is moving to due diligence. DMY generated interest from 39 buyers for this opportunity.
• A 1 Principal firm, Melbourne Inner South East $630,000 in fees (ID#57) is in the same position with a Heads of Agreement executed this week. DMY generated interest from 73 buyers for this opportunity.
• A 1 Principal firm, Melbourne Inner Suburbs $430,000 in fees (ID#200) successfully executed a Contract of Sale and will be settling in the next few days. This practive recieved interest from a massive 126 interested parties.

We are also continuing to see a healthy supply of practice owners entrusting DMY to take their practices to market. In March four new practices across New South Wales and Victoria have engaged us and they will be coming to market over the coming weeks.

With April now upon us, it is time again to refresh our Market Data which we do every six months. DMY is proud to be the only firm in Australia that regularly publishes comprehensive data on the market for buying and selling accounting practices including levels of buyer activity and selling prices.
