Coincidentally we have sold two Brisbane-based audit practices in the last few months, so we know there is strong demand for these stable fees and easy to manage practices. If this looks like a good fit, don't delay in registering your interest via the website listing.

There is a growing level of interest and we are already talking to buyers keen to meet with the Vendors. Move on this one quickly if it looks a good fit and you haven't yet registered your interest.

I (Mark) am currently in Sydney meeting with practice owners and clients, and attending tomorrow's CPA Public Practice Forum New South Wales. Practice owners are generally optimistic and reporting strong FY23 results, but their number one issue, consistently, is finding enough good people to complete all the client work in a timely manner and still have capacity to grow. It's a significant challenge and one we see continuing for the foreseeable future, reinforcing the importance of building a strong culture and being proactive in retaining good performers.
