Farewell 2023

This is our last Market Update for 2023. 

December is always a busy period for practice sales and this year has been no exception. Practice owners, who are thinking of selling, are getting ready to kick off a sale in early 2024 while practice owners who are already in the sale process are working hard to get Heads of Agreements signed or final Contracts of Sale executed. We had one practice owner sign their Contract of Sale yesterday before shortly heading overseas for Christmas. A perfect present!

2024 is shaping up to be another strong year of practice sales. DMY already have ten owners engaged with us to sell their practices in early 2024. These include firms all over Australia: from the West Coast to the East, in metro and regional, both small and large. We foresee no let up in buyer demand and the market will continue to remain hotly contested.

Our offices are officially closing for the Christmas and New Year break, back open from 4 January. Having said that, Daniel and I are both still available next week for anything urgent. I suspect most practice owners are now focused on the race to the line, but if anyone needs to discuss their situation before the break do reach out. 

Otherwise, stay safe over the holiday period and enjoy some well earned relaxation!
